Cindy Syracuse is an award-winning Chief Marketing Officer and founder of Searchlight Marketing LLC, a consultancy that helps purpose-driven and emerging brands grow through cultural insight, brand storytelling, and data-driven strategy. With more than 25 years of experience leading national and franchise restaurant brands, Cindy brings deep expertise in marketing, communications, and brand development to the Lynne Mitchell Foundation.

Throughout her career, Cindy has led transformative marketing for brands including BurgerFi, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Burger King, Fridays and Firehouse Subs, driving innovation across digital platforms, loyalty programs, and creative campaigns that connect with audiences on an emotional level. Her work has earned global recognition, including Cannes Lions awards, and delivered measurable business growth through integrated marketing and consumer engagement.

As a Board Member and Marketing & Communications Lead for the Lynne Mitchell Foundation, Cindy oversees brand storytelling, donor engagement, and strategic communications. She has helped shape the foundation’s “Give Better. Give a Future.” campaign—driving awareness, social media engagement, and fundraising efforts that directly support scholarships for Jamaican students.

Cindy’s personal commitment to education runs deep. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from the State University of New York at Oneonta and a Master’s degree in Communications from Florida International University. She has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Tampa and Southern Methodist University, mentoring the next generation of marketing professionals.

Her belief that education transforms lives aligns powerfully with the Foundation’s mission. Cindy brings her passion for storytelling and learning to every initiative—helping the Lynne Mitchell Foundation expand its reach and continue empowering students to dream, achieve, and rise.
