I am profoundly moved as I pen down these words of appreciation to express my heartfelt gratitude for the invaluable support you have extended through funding my tuition for the Fall 2023 Semester. Your collective act of kindness has made an indelible impact on my life, and I am beyond thankful for this opportunity. With the help of your generous contributions, I will now be able to pursue my studies at the esteemed Southern Alberta of Technology without any hassles. Currently, I recently completed the second semester of my Chemical Engineering course at SAIT. Unfortunately, financial constraints were threatening to hinder my progress into the third semester. However, your timely and generous assistance has ensured that I can confidently continue my educational journey without any hindrance.

As you probably saw, I was elated to find out that I would be a recipient of this scholarship. I’m honored to know that I was chosen, especially as I did not attend St. George’s college like your father. What we do have in common, however, is belief in the importance of giving back. With that, I hope that through my actions during University and after, I will properly honor Norman J. Lawrence. Once again, I thank you for your support.

I just want to express my sincere gratitude to the donors of this foundation for selecting me as a recipient of the Lynne Mitchell Foundation scholarship. I am immensely grateful for the financial support that this will provide. Without this scholarship, I would not be able to fully cover my university expenses and ultimately pursue my dream of becoming a software engineer. This scholarship will no doubt aid in making my dream possible. Wanting to pursue a career in Animal or Veterinary Science has not been an easy road, and I know it will never be. I have been told countless times to do something else, but I resist giving up. I will continue to work towards what I want to achieve. I will believe and continue to have faith. I was on the edge of thinking that all my efforts this year were in vain, as I have been applying for scholarships and emailing schools and have not received any good news. But this scholarship has reminded me that there is hope; all I have to do is keep on trying. Working with animals for the little time I did had been the most fulfilling part of my life; it was like I wasn't even working. After this phase of my life, I ventured into other things, thinking they could help me acquire funds to push me closer to making my dream a possibility. However, none has been as fulfilling as my time at the Animal Shelter. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have been selected as a recipient. This shows me that there are people out there who believe in me and see my goals as realistic. This scholarship does not only grant monetary support to scholars but also hope. Thank you for spreading hope through your contributions to the education of myself and others.

Ever since my acceptance into the University of the West Indies to study Law, I was unaware on how I would fund this Journey. However, when I learned that I was selected to be a recipient of this prestigious scholarship, the dream of mine to become a lawyer seemed much more attainable. Your belief in my ability to do well and your willingness to invest in my education has moved me in tremendous ways. To know that you chose me out of several other candidates is truly an honour and it warms my heart to know that you believe in me and my potential. Additionally, I am inspired to one-day give back to society in a similar format. Thank you for this opportunity to fund my tertiary education. I am grateful for the financial support that I've received from the Lynne Mitchell Foundation, but I am most grateful for the emotional support and the inspiration I have received. Thanks to the Foundation, I am continuously reminded that someone believes in me and is investing in my dreams and that gives me the strength to go on. The Foundation not only seeks for me to succeed academically but also for me to be the best version of myself - and for that I am grateful. During the challenging time of the Covid-19 pandemic, I could reach out to the Lynne Mitchell Foundation for emotional support and mentorship - and for that I am grateful. Because of all the support I have been given, I am inspired to some day help children with great potential who are in need - taking a page out of the Lynne Mitchell Foundation's book. Thank you for showing me that kind words of encouragement can go a far way. Thank you for not judging my book by its cover and investing in my potential to be one of the best books on the shelves.

I am grateful for the amount of students' lives that have been impacted by the help of this Foundation and I am glad to be one of them.

I am most grateful for the continuous support(not only financially but emotionally and mentally as well) from the Lynne Mitchell Foundation. The Lynne Mitchell Foundation has assisted financially throughout high school and now at the University of Technology as I pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. With the Foundation grant, I am able to pay my tuition. Without this scholarship, I would not be able to pursue my career dream. I will continue to work hard to make the Foundation, my family and last but not least myself proud.

The Lynne Mitchell Foundation has helped me in so many ways. They have helped me with my school fees, bus fees and even as much as to get a laptop to make online school easier. I am grateful that in this time of need the Foundation is able to provide for my educational needs. I have benefited from the Foundation Back to School Drive when they distributed back packs and school supplies such as pencils, pen, rulers, books etc. For this I was extremely grateful, because this took some pressure off my father. The scholarship helps me to pay my school fee and purchase my text books. My father, who is the sole breadwinner for my family is a minimum wage worker. I have four other siblings who also depend on him for support and it has been a really difficult task. The Foundation has been a great help to us.

I am grateful that they make the sacrifice to provide funds to those in need.

I am immensely grateful for the financial support. The kindness extended to me by the Foundation allows me to fulfill my dreams. In addition, I am grateful for the mental support. The Foundation encourages me to work smart and hard. Thank you so much for having faith in me. The Lynne Mitchell Foundation has been supporting my studies from the beginning of secondary school. Without the foundation, my school journey would have been a very difficult and probably impossible one. Since I started university the Foundation has been covering the cost of my off-campus housing. This helped to ease the pressure off me so I could focus more on school. Without this scholarship, I would not have been able to afford housing at University and would have been unable to continue my studies. Thanks to the Lynne Mitchell Foundation, I am now a University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Studies with an emphasis in Tourism and Hospitality Management. I am so grateful for all that the foundation has done for me.

I am most grateful that the Lynne Mitchell Foundation saw the potential in me and gave me a push to work harder. And I’m grateful for everything they have helped me with because if it was just for my mother to do everything, I would not be able to make it through a whole school year.
